I too found the bottle method to be unreliable in getting the whole amount into the little man. I was also nursing and didn’t want to use any bottles.  In the first few months we put the pill on a silver or soft coated baby spoon with a few drops of water and it disolved on the spoon pretty quickly. I would just open up his little lips with my finger or the tip of the spoon and slip the spoon in and wipe the spoon on the inside of his upper lip as I pulled the spoon out to make sure it was clean and no residue was left. It all took about 3 seconds or so. I always held him in a cradle hold so it wouldn’t spill out of his mouth.  This worked great until he was a year or less maybe when I just started sticking the pill in his mouth and to this day he just eats it up.  I’m sure the bottle might work fro some though so I guess it’s always good to put out lots of suggestions so people can find what works for them
