TetherAs a matter of a fact, I find giving medicine in a bottle to be the most reliable. I already tried many different methods until I came to make this conclusion. I used to give medication through a dropper, with a spoon and what not. I mixed it with a little liquid and when my baby spit out even only a drop from the sides of his mouth he wasted very much of the precious medication. Besides, in for example a dropper, I was also able to see particles stuck to the sides after giving the medication, just like some claim to find in a bottle, and it took me much longer to clean it out and make sure he got everything. Now when I give Cortef and Florinoff in a bottle I mix it with a lot of liquid, so if he loses anything, which is rare since he would much rather drink a good bottle than have a dropper or a spoon forced into his mouth, it’s only a tiny percent of the whole thing, and it doesn’t make that much of a difference.
My baby is also a nursing baby like Sandra’s, therefore I only give it with drinks like juice or water. The extra liquid he is getting from these bottles are very helpful in keeping him from getting dehydrated.
