LynnTThat is such good news Risty!! I know I have become a worry wart when it comes to my son. From what they told me, the Exon 7 with T insertion is a very severe strain of salt wasting CAH. I also believe that my son’s own physical makeup has something to do with it. I’m sure that you have noticed that some children sweat more than others, well my son sweats much more than my daughter. So much more that my daughter (9 years old) noticed it the other day and wondered if there was something wrong with HER because she didn’t perspire as much as he did.(:>)
I do find that as we get a grip on all the signs and symptoms of what sends him into a crisis OR even what makes him a bit punkish, life gets easier and we can all relax a lot more. I also think that knowing how quickly he seems to respond to the injection really calms the anxiety for us all.
Our dog does watch out after him and seems worried when he is lying in bed for too long.
I am glad to hear that your son is doing better and that the endo is not worried about him. I will pray for continued healing.
