Anyway, I agree with you both. If, as the parent, you can see that your child is getting all thier meds then it is the right way for you. We used a mini med bottle with a little breast milk or formula. After he finished that small amount we filled the bottle again and fed him his normal feeding. That way anything that might have been left behind from the first bottle would be mixed in with the second bottle.
That was way back when we were using the liquid cortef. We continued that od even when we had to crush the pills to administer. We are lucky now as our son swallows both the cortef and the florinef whole - at the same time!! He did try chewing them but couldn’t stand the bitterness.
