I have two completely opposite kids.  My daughter (non0 CAH) is fair haired and fair skinned and burns easily.  She does seem to be fine though when we use a high SPF.  She takes after her mom.  I think it’s the Irish in her.(:>)

My son(CAH) is a completely different story.  He tans from the minute he steps in the sun and rarely needs sun screen.  He takes after my husband.  I think it’s the European in him.(:>)

A thought about Dalton though is that if he sweats a lot more than your other child, he may be sweating the lotion right off of him.  This might be handled by frequent re-applications of a high SPF sun tan lotion.
