re: UTI’s and Baby girls without surgery and immunization questions...

My 3 year old daughter has NOT had surgery and has never had a UTI. It is different with each child. If your daughter is not having UTI’s there is no medical necessity for the surgery now. There are many girls who have not had surgery. Please read the controversies board and you will get more info about this. Our endo says that if our daughter has a persistent fever to have her checked for UTI so I feel we would be able to figure out what is going on and treat her fairly rapidly.

I would listen to your endo about the immunizations although ours differs in advice. She has never had us double dose for immunizations only if she gets a fever from them. My daughter has never had a problem, although we dose at a much different pace then doctors recommend for compliance sake. We would give her only one vaccine at a time, (not multiple vaccines in one shot; but one vaccine. They can special order them.) Good luck. Julia
