I have an 18 year old son with CAH. He recently under went a physical and masses were found on both testicles. They are testing for adrenal rest tissue. Have any of you had any experience with this? It is caused when the adrenals are not supressed effectively and to many androgens are produced. Aaron’s DR. stopped doing blood tests at least 5 years ago, saying that at his age he was probably on the dose of cortef he would be on for his adult life and did not see the need to test every year! needless to say I am very upset. Adrenal reat tissue on the testies causes infertility. The urologist is looking into how to treat this as it is very rare. I thought maybe some of you might have some experience with this. Thanks
