Arya:  I am 33 and was diagnosed at 18.  At that time the doctors were shocked that no one figured this out when I born. It still puzzles me too.  I was on steroids (prednisone, dexamethasone and cortef at various times) for almost 15 years.  It was not a pleasant 15 years, but it was better than my teens.  I am now off of the meds and I am doing better through some non-traditional methods.  I am sleeping well, losing weight, gaining back muscle...If you’d like to hear more e-mail me at amybal@mindspring.com
