Flying with emergency injectibles

Hi!  My 7 and 5 year old daughters, both with SSW CAH, will soon be flying to Colorado with their grandparents.  Has anyone encountered any problems with carrying their emergency meds including the needles and syringes onto the airplane?  Was there anything specific you needed to bring with you?  We always carry with them an emergency med bag that has that written on it, it has all of their medication (including epipens), documentation of their CAH, emergency instructions from the endo and their medic alert cards with pictures.  Thought I should start checking this now so there are no problems when they get to the airport.  There is no way I’m sending them to Colorado without their emergency meds.

Thanks a bunch!
