Hydrocortisone-containing rectal suppositories
Jul. 23rd, 2003   11:12pm
An article by Phyllis Speiser, MD Director Pediatric Endocrinology, Schneider Children’s Hospital in NY suggested the use of rectal suppositories containing hydrocortisone for stress dosing.  Has anyone tried this-does it work?  Is it a viable alternative to the IM dose?  Feedback?  Thanks!
