My children both have swcah and have both attended daycare since they were babies.  L’tecia started daycare at 10 months and Shane at 15 months.  They both have always been fine.  It’s better to expose your kids to germs and let them build up some sort of immunity to them.  You can’t protect them from everything!  My kids don’t seem to be any worse as far as catching colds etc than any other kids I know.  Anyway once they start school they will be around other kids heaps anyway so might as well start building up that immunity now!  I’m sure you’ll make the decision that best suits you.  As far as medication goes I get the school/daycare to give my kids medecine as they usually have it when they have their lunch.  Why don’t you give the daycare a try and see how they go, if it’s not working you can always try something else.

Good luck

Jane
