My almost 3 yr old is ready to give up sippie cups.  In addition to 1 florinef tablet, she gets 1 tsp. of salt per day.  I am finding it hard to monitor her salt intake because of all the ½ empty glasses lying around the house.  (She has also developed a passion for the water fountain.)  I plan to discuss this with Dr. New next week, but I was looking for advice from the parental units out there.  Is there any advantage to regular salt?  For those giving salt tablets, how does that work?
