Just thought that I would share the reason for my questions about CAH carriers and alopecia areata.  I have had alopecia areata since puberty.  The only time that I have not had bald spots, is when I was pregnant with my son, who has CAH.  I had alopecia when I was pregnant with my 2 other children, neither have CAH, but I was also taking the dexamethasone when I was preg. with them....just seems to me that there is some connection.  At least some hormonal connection, other than the "stress"  answer that I have gotten from every Dr. that I have ever seen for it.  Time to see a good endo. I think.   Thanks for your input and I’ll let you know what I find out.
