Hi Cathy, I just wanted to say that being on a higher than necessary dose will also cause headaches and irritability. What is his dose of Dex?

 I am a surviver of horendous migraines induced by too much Dex for 7 years, now I take .375mg of Dex and everything is great.

 Please remember to tell your son to ALWAYS take his Dex with milk or food, it is very important to protect his stomache.

Also if I am correct, Prednisone for cah is usually dosed using 2mg/m2 sometimes less for nonclassics. Good luck, there are a lot of Cahducated people on the board :o) willing to answer your questions. Take care, Michelle R
