Hi Chris! I have no idea if I am correct or not, but I accidenally refilled Ben’s presecription witht the generic form of Florinef, "Fludrocortisone" last year with disastrous results!! It was horrific!!! The pharmacist tried to convince me that the FDA would not make this generic if it were not "exactly" like Florinef. Wrong...his numbers went way out of wack. Be careful if it is the generic that they are trying to substitute without your knowledge or consent. Our endo has recommended that we NEVER use the generic form of Florinef, "fludrocortisone" as it just didn’t work for us. Just my 2 cents.
