There’s an interesting article in today’s Washington Post on the fees charged by journals to read the research they publish...much of funded with federal tax-dollars.

This is something that I am sure many have run into---wondering whether to get out the credit card to pay for research results on the internet.  It looks like the might be some changes somewhere in the near future (or so my budget can only hope):
