If you would be the one to become pregnant before your sister without the buster dose, and everything would go well, and than your sister would want to try you would possibly also think that her endo is crazy for recommending the extra dose.  If you can, it would be nice to call up your sister’s endo and find out why he made her double her dose and why he feels it is importand.  Ask him if he thinks you can do without it if your endo doesn’t recommend it.  It would be interesting to hear what he has to say.  Maybe there is a reason why your sister needs it more than you do or maybe he is just a precocious person and that’s what made him do it.  Don’t base your decision solely on what he has to say.  Ask other endos for their opinion.  My guess would be that you should be able to manage well without double dosing.
