I’m just curious as to when or why a person with CAH would change to a different drug.  My understanding was that when they are young, Cortef is the one most commonly used & then as they get older, some use dexamethasone & some use prednisone.  Is that correct?  Does it, like everything else, depend on the person (labs and such)  and his or her endo?  Our son is only 13mos old so we have a long way to go, but I’m just wondering.  Thanks!
