RistyI have been suffering sever lower back pain ever since I became pregnant with my CAH baby. I thought until now that it is probably due to heavy labor (being a mom to three little boys is hard work) and will go away when I’ll make time to rest. Today when I saw a nutritionist because of my babies allergies she tested me as well (I’m a nursing Mom and what I eat makes a difference.). I didn’t even think of mentioning anything about it but the first thing she asked me is whether I have lower back pain. She said that I have kidney gravel due to excessive calcium (I started eating allot of milk products lately because I figured it would make me healthy:) intake.
Thinking it over more clearly now, I remember that there was some posts running here a few month ago on whether being pregnant with a CAH baby or being a carrier of CAH (I myself only carry a NC gene, it’s my husband who has the sever one.) could cause kidney stones in the mother. If there could really be something to it, can anyone explain to me what the thoery behind it is?
With much appreciation
Risty
