We had our endocrinologist retire just last year and I wondered how we would get on with a new endocrinologist but we did just fine.  He is wonderful and now I look back and wonder why I was so worried.  I decided I would give the new person a chance and if we really didn’t like him we would move on.  Fortunately for us it has worked out really well and while we miss Dr Byrne, Dr Lafferty is just wonderful and we are very lucky to have him as our endocrinologist.  All I can suggest is give the new person a try and see if you and your family like them.  I wish you all the best and hope it works out well for your family.
