I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter who has CAH and I loved the artivcle.  I am not embarrassed by my daughter at all and her condition.  If people ask me questions about her condition I use it as an opportunity to educate them about CAH.  Being born with ambigious genitalia is nothing to be ashamed of, it would be like a boy being born with hypospadius or something to that affect.  It is not your fault and my daughter is all girl so I just answer "of course she is not a boy".  I am very proud of Kaye and her family.  It was beautifully written and I think it will explain a lot to people who don’t quite understand it.  I told all my friends and family to go out and get a copy of it and read it.
