I just typed a lengthy response to have it erased and I don’t have the energy to do it again, but i did want to say a couple of things.

My daughter knows everything about CAH, we’ve surfed the net together she has seen pictures of herself when she was first born, she knows what she looks like now, she can discuss any part of it with anyone that asks.  No one has ever asked.  Everyone around her knows about her special needs in regards to dehydration etc. . .and that has been sufficient.

It amazes me that you actually think that genitalia is the biggest part of this disease.  But it does put everything that you have ever typed on this web and other places that I have read into perspective.  My daughter’s genitalia has NEVER been the biggest concern for me or for her.  When someone wants to actually put some REAL perspective on the issue how abou the meds that keep her alive and running from day to day.  The biggest issue is the surgery what a crock.  I would like for controversy to be based around the meds so that we can keep every child even, so they don’t ahve to worry about weight issues or going into crisis without warning.  How about that?  No you’re right that is also part of my dreamworld.
