Hi Angela,

I can’t help you with most of the things you have written about, unfortunately, but I am very interested in knowing what other people experienced in their pregnancies. I had a terrible pregnancy. I was nauseated for a good 4 and half months. Dry heaved a lot, but only vomited once. Just felt awful and couldn’t eat anything but toast. I developed severe preeclampsia at 29 weeks and became worse after they took my daughter out by C-Section. She was a preemie and she didn’t develop CAH until age 2. She is a non classic.  When I got worse (very very high blood pressure along with kidney and liver problems) after they took my daughter, they said that was unusual, since preeclampsia is caused by pregnancy, when you remove the baby, that should remove the problem, but in my case it did not.  I think you are incredibly brave for wanting to have another child. I have not mustered that courage yet. Best to you.

Just to let you know, I have many of the symptoms of LOCAH, but I haven’t gone through all the testing yet. Will do so soon.

I often see common threads between a lot of us who have CAH in our families. I am sure it is not a coincidence.

Take Care,

Linda
