Hi Margaret,

My hands have only started shaking in the past couple years. (i am 34 now) I had a baby 3 1/2 years ago and during pregnacy developed high blood pressure that never went away. Originally we thought it was the blood pressure medication so my Endo changed meds. (To betoblockers I believe.) It still didn’t make any differnce so I had an MRI and am still awaiting the results. I find it iss worse when I am stressed or tired.

In the past 2 months I have switched from Prednisine to dexamethasone because I am trying to concieve a second child. Surpizingly,  i have noticed that lately my shaking hands have calmed down significatly! It is something i am going to definitely discuss with my Endo next visit.

You didn’t mention your sons meds but perhaps he can speak to his endo about this. overall i must say that apart from the weight that i put on when i take dex, i feel best when I am on it. because it is longer lasting and covers me suffiently to my next dose. Perhaps it is something he can ask about.
