I am going through a similar trial right now, so I was glad to read your post!  Christi’s Endocrinologist has been more than willing to sign documentation which I have been greatful for, but the school (which is a Christian school ) has been putting me through the wringer with technicalities.  I am almost getting the feeling that she has "slipped" through the cracks as far as getting into the school is concerned.  I applied to the school way back in January while still in CT, my sister slept on the gym floor for a night to get the girls in this school, worked with the secretary concerning CAH, everything went smoothly.  Now, here we are down to the wire and I am having to compose letters concerning stress dosing during field trips and lockdown situations for her Doctor to sign!  FRUSTRATED!  The school goes into lockdown when a prisoner escapes, earthquake, lots of situations and no one comes in, and no one gets out until the crisis is over.  They are worried she will be stressed by this.  I feel she will be no more stressed by the situation than any other two year old.  The director of the program was totally bewildered and suggested that the school could not take her.  Had to have a big meeting with the trauma nurse who works part time there, her teacher and the director.  Her teacher had already had a home visit, so had a much different (relaxed) take on the situation.  They threw out CRAZY scenarios for me to answer, and also threw in there that public schools HAD to take care of her.  I almost lost it.  I am frustrated right now, but at the same time this school has taken such a great deal of concern in learning about her medications, her condition and ensuring her safety while in their care that I am happy, such mixed emotions!  Phew,  I needed to vent too, thanks for listening.
