It is so strange that this is on the board right now, because I made an appt. with Dr. New also. We live in California and the medical care is excellent here. I feel that my daugther is getting very good care. My daughter has had all the appropriate tests to determine if she has this condition. And it came back that she has LOCAH or NCCAH. Although, we have not had the DNA tests done.

I am wondering if I should still keep this appt. Any input would be greatly appreciated. It’s a long trip for us, and I don’t want to go unless we feel it would be beneficial to my daughter.

Risty, when your son was misdiagnosed had he already had the ACTH stim test? Also, Dr. New’s office said that I should just give my daughter her morning dose (the day of her appointment) and they would take blood when we came in. Shouldn’t they take blood first thing in the morning before her first dose? That is what we do here so how could they compare the two tests if she is on her medication when they take her blood?? Hope that makes sense.

Again, we would be ever so grateful for any suggestions.
