AH and migraines/vertigo

Any connection between the two?

For about 5 years I’ve been struggling with debilitating migraines and
vertigo. Docs have been unable to account for them. The symptoms
are worsened by stress, travel and visual effort, and once triggered
take about 3 weeks to resolve. Inevitably, I then try to resume a
more normal life, and that triggers the next bout.

Via the Web, I’ve found a women who has an almost identical history.
For both of us, the symptoms are lessened by taking thyroid hormone
supplements, but we can’t take enough to make the symptoms go away
completely. She too has been checked from head to foot and none of
her docs can find the cause either.

Prednisolone resolves the problem for me. Earlier this year I tried
a short course and it was the only time in 5 years I was able to
leave the house without getting motion sick from vertigo. But
the doctor did not want me to take the med for long, and symptoms
returned when I stopped.

Does this ring a bell for anyone else?

Is there a mechanism in AH that can explain migraines? My research
says a 21-hydroxylase deficiency can cause a buildup of progesterone,
and high progesterone can cause headaches and vertigo.

Comments appreciated.
