My daughter is about 4 months old. She is taking 1.25mg Cortef twice each day. Since Cortef doesn’t stay in the body long plus it irritates her stomach, I try to keep it exactly 12 hours apart and coincides with her feeding time as well. But this doesn’t always work since sometimes she is asleep or she is not hungry when we give her the medicine. Maybe I worry too much. But does anyone know how exactly we should keep the schedule? Is it a really bad thing if it is off by, say, an hour? Will the medicine really hurt her stomach if she doesn’t take any food when she takes the medicine?
