If your symptoms match well with what’s described on that migraine
associated vertigo link I posted earlier, then MAV is likely what
you have.

Like you, I don’t crave salt. If I have any craving, it would be for
sweets. A hair analysis done showed my levels of both sodium and
potassium to be WAY lower than expected. I don’t know if that
has much significance.

Ear fullness, itching, carbs - magic words to me as I experience
exactly that too! My very first unusual symptom was an itchy ear
canal in my left ear only in, umm, 1997. The more carbs I eat, the
worse my ear gets.

I did the anti-candida, low-carb diet faithfully for a year. Helped
the ear, but nothing else. Great way to lose weight though, and one
heck of a boring diet. I don’t think candida is the answer for us.

Have you had an ENG? That’s the test where they put cold then warm
water in your ears to invoke a spinning sensation and measure how
much your vestibular system reacts. My result is abnormal on the
right side. Maryann gets identical abnormal results on the right.

I feel sick all the time too, like now while sitting at the computer.
The more I look at the computer, the worse I feel, and I can only do
a limited amount.

You had asked about brain fog and concentration. That’s one thing
I don’t experience except when the headache pain gets too brutal.

Does Prednisolone = Cortef + Florinef? If so maybe I need some
Florinef too, since Cortef alone does not seem to be helping.

I’ve got a whole bunch more symptoms info posted at my site (which
is a few months out of date now). You might see if you and I match
in other ways too http://whatailssteve.0catch.com/
