Susan and Steve,

I’m 38 and have 17 hydroxylase deficiency. I have had itchy ear canals(both ears) also. I do get headaches once in awhile, sometimes a sharp pain for a couple seconds. Some of the side effects of cortef are headaches. I don’t get migraines.

Susan, I too am worried about my bone density. I have been on steroids for about 26 years when I was diagnosed in 6th grade. Also been on hormones(estrace) since then to counteract the effects of cortef on the bones. I have bone density tests done every year and so far so good, and have another next week. I feel it is getting worse. I am almost at the state of osteopenia which comes before osteoporosis. I eat well and have exercised all my life, active in sports.

Do either of you have itchy feet?? I do and mostly comes on at night but not always.
