RistyThanks for the response Megan.

Something has come up and I thought of doing another appointment in that area while I was there. I’m figuring how to work it into my schedule:
How will it go in Cornell? Is my son going to be tied to the place from the beginning to the end or can we leave the grounds after the first round of testing and come back before the hour runs up? (Oops, I forgot to inquire, how is an ACTH done, do they take blood when he comes, give him something by mouth and test again an hour later or will he be attached to an IV throughout?)
Does the ACTH have to be done at a specific time of the day or can I do it whenever it’s best for me?

Another two questions:
Will the ACTH show whether my son is a salt waster or not?
How do they figure the results? What ranges are expected to determine whether my son has SW, SV or NC CAH?
