We just met with Dr. New in NY and she cut our dosing schedule back from 3x per day to 2x.  I had the same concerns about the cortef lasting long enough and she informed me that your levels of cortisol peak and fall.  Therefore you don’t have to be corncerned about having the same exact amount in your system 24/7(unless there is high fever, illness, major stress, etc.).  Our little SW is 2 1/2 and we have always kept his meds at 8:00 am and 8 p.m..  Good luck and enjoy your little girl.
