Dr. New is coming to LA on October 18 at the LA Children’s Hospital(I think) for a CARES Conference.  Call the CARES office for the info she is one of the main speakers AND it’s free!  It might save you a trip.  We too just flew from IN to NY to see her and it was very helpful, and we found out that we are receiving very good care here.  However we learned alot about the nuances of CAH.  We are actually considering flying out to LA for the conference.  The things we learned form her were timing of the blood tests(they should be done 1-2 hours after meds), her dosing schedule and drugs of choice, etc.  Hope that helps.
