Kathy - as far as the bone density goes - I was at the Osteopena (sp?) place about 3 years ago. My doctor got worried - I had lost 7% in my right hip in one year -and so he put me on Fosamax - I took it for about 6 months (not all that faithfully to be truthful) - anyway - when I had another density test done I had regrown all the bone mass I had lost. It works really well. I didn’t have any side effects either.
