Lately, our 10 yr old SWCAH daughter has had some pretty severe pains in her mid section (on both sides of the belly button almost to her sides). She often dramatically screams out in pain. It is sharp and direct. The odd thing is that it comes and goes. It could come on suddenly and be gone after a few pains or last for hours. We have had her checked for appendix, gallbladder, adrenals, kidneys, bladder ect. Ultrasounds, x-rays, blood tests, urine tests. The usual. Nothing! I am starting to think this may be related to CAH??? Can something be triggering this? Hormones? Signals from the glands telling her to start her period for the first time? Would it be that painful? One thing they did tell us at the last ultrasound was that she has "several" follicles on her ovaries. Any ideas anyone? We see our endo on Friday but shes in pain off and on and its killing me to watch it. Thanks!!!!!Natalie A
