Just wanted to share an idea with you all! Our 6 yr old daughter is much too fashion conscious for her age (as are most of her friends!), and had started to take off her Medic Alert bracelet. I had expected this when she got older, but not so soon!

We found a pretty, inexpensive, silver linked bracelet at a jewelers (there were fancier ones with glass or crystal beads, too), and the jeweler measured our daughter’s wrist, took off the original bracelet from the Medic Alert medallion, and silver-soldered the new one on instead. It looks great, cost only about $20 (including labor), and best of all .... our daughter loves it! She has been showing it off to all of her friends, and now they want one too! Whatever works, right!?
