re: About food allergies

Interesting.

I can share that my now 2 1/2 year old non-CAH daughter (none of us are genitcally related) is just now able to tolerate milk/dairy products. Her previous symptoms were diarehia and wheezing (which is what indicated an alergy vs intolerance). All along her ped thought it was due to an immature immune system.  This is why many babies need to have soy formula but can start drinking milk at about a year. It just took Ruthie a little bit longer than that.

Olivia (4 1/2) has not had any stomach problems - she has had vomiting only 3 times in her life and each required a shot and trip to the ER.  She is also very healthy -- we haven’t had to even double or triple dose in over 6 months.

Best regards,

Janet
