ToniaI understand if you are having a "special" bracelet made for, but please make sure she has one now. Our daughter has been wearing hers since she was diagnosed. Since I couldn’t get it to stay on her tiny wrist, I put it on her right ankle. My fear was that since it wasn’t on her wrist, it may not be noticed in an emergency. So, I also make a 3x5 card with all personal information (name, emergency contact numbers, CAH, emergency instruction, Dr’s contact info, etc.) and attached it to her car seat with a BRIGHT cord. (If there was a car accident, the EMT’s couldn’t miss it!) I also have extra cards that I carry in my purse, give to the babysitter, keep with the shot kit, etc.
