A carrier is NOT affected with CAH.. . I have two sons with CAH and one son is a carrier.  The carrier has NO symptoms of CAH.  Do not worry.  Might be aware of the symptoms and test for non-classical in teen years and late 40s.  Did you have genetic testing? Did they do the 60-minute cortisol challenge or stimulation test? Check the blood pressure, salts and sugars? blood test for the 17-OHP?

The symptoms of CAH are:

Lossing weight

vomiting, stomach pain, lower back ache, dark circles under the eyes

darken skin (paricularly in the groin area)

head aches, dizzy (from the low blood pressure)

craving salts and sugars

sleepy, no energy, listless
