Macarena, I think most doctors would agree with your pediatrician, not Dr. New.  Chresten’s sodium level was low enough to be classified as hyponatremia, his blood sugar levels were low, he had low blood pressure, high heart rate, was severely dehydrated and in a pre-shock state.....that is an adrenal crisis.  It may not be due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency, but it was still an adrenal crisis.  If nothing else, I would get another opinion right away on even just this one issue, nevermind a diagnosis, so you do not continue to spin your wheels.
