re: high cortisol and low aldosterone?

Steve,

I could be WAY off base here and it seems as though I am not answering your question but . . could your problem with headaches and dizziness be related to low blood pressure?  I have recently been having terrible headaches and dizziness.  It got so bad that one day I fainted.  It turned out that it was the diuretic I was taking for kidney stones was lowering my blood pressure too much.  One of the treatments to raise my blood pressure could be florinef!  I was stunned - this is what I give my CAH kids everyday!  Anyway, I can’t take it because I would retain too much salt in my kidneys (which is part of the reason I have kidney stones in the first place).  OY VAY!  Anyway, maybe that will help you in a roundabout way.  Cortisol does play a part in your blood pressure.  You should maybe get that checked out.

Best of luck to you.  I hope you feel better soon.
