Gynecomasita in Boys with CAH
Sep. 26th, 2003   11:18am
My seven year old with SW CAH in good control with a bone age of six, and no other signs of puberty, presented with small breast buds or "gynecomastia", I took him to the pedatrician who confirmed what we found and called endo with his findings, I go to the endo at the end of the month. Does anyone know what this could mean? I did a little internet research and found reference to this problem and CAH, but I can’t find out what it means, oversuprressed or undersuprressed or just a side effect.
Any comments would be aprreciated.
I had a bone age done in June, his meds have been the same for years.
Endo did not want to make any changes, I will have blood work done prior to our October appointment.
