Danny, since you’ve been kind enough to create this great "space" for us to share and support each other, it’s my pleasure to help if I can.  Growing up with this disease can be tough, and very alienating, but it also can be very manageable.  If I could help one child w/ CAH not have some of the awful memories I have -- such as being treated like a prized guinea pig every time I entered a "teaching hospital" -- it would be rewarding for me.  Parents of CAH kids need not only protect them from physical dangers, but pyschological ones as well.  The trauma of feeling "freakish" often did me as much harm as any physical crisis.  I’ll do my best to be available for anyone with specific questions.  Take care.
