Yes, we have been taking our son to CHP for over 5 years.  We also switched at that time due to insurance reasons.  It is my understanding that Dr. Selma Witchel is the only doctor in the Ped Endo practice out of Childrens who specifically treats the CAH kids - I may be wrong.  At the recommendation of both our prior Ped Endo and our pediatrician, we initially saw another doc in the practice, but on our first visit he told us he doesn’t see these kids.  We went to yet another doctor there for about a year and a half and he left to go out east.  At that time anyway, Dr. Witchel was the only one treating CAH and we have been seeing her ever since.  I would imagine there might be other endos with priveleges at CHP who are not in that particular practice (based at Childrens), but I don’t know.  I would be happy to further discuss our experiences with you.
