KayeMy dearest Aimee,
Thank you much for your post. I wonder as well about the meds. I asked one of her Endocrinologists and I was told it had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! Instead, in cases such as these it is usually the result of being on the bottle, (she isn’t), or being given too much juice. (She isn’t). To be quite frank, I am sick and tired of being told that the medicines have NOTHING to do with ANYTHING alarming when it comes to CAH. Even her weight issue was pushed in my face by another doctor sometime ago. Yeah, I feed her Ho-ho’s, chips by the barrel full, soda doughnuts and all the rest. I was made to feel it was MY FAULT for her weight barreling towards full tilt. My question to you is (I don’t know much about teeth) you aren’t sensitive to hot and cold? I would have figured that enamel loss would in a sense "expose" the nerves? I guess not judging by your post. These are her baby teeth, but I don’t want any damage to her adult teeth so I will see what the dentist has to say on tuesday. I come from a HUGE "take care of your teeth" family, this...., for a brief moment in time sent me into a huge tizzy, tears flying everywhere. Now that I have had time to regroup...and read your post I can sleep tonight with a smile on my face!
Love to you,
Kaye
