What triggered my curiosity was the point in the article that these patients often end up needing a smaller dose of Hydrocortisone than what they needed when they had CAH.  From the way I saw it until now I understood that people with CAH have some enzyme activity while those with Addisons have none.  Why does it turn out that they are able to lower their dose after an adrenalectomy than?
