I知 getting pretty close to having our newest little man. Due at the end of Nov.  We know through DNA testing that he will have CAH like his 2yr old brother. His DNA mutations were exactly the same as his brothers. It is consistent with SVCAH and his 2yr old brother is pretty on target with that diagnosis. My 2yr old was circumcised as where my two older non CAH boys. The problem I知 having is that now the doctors know that this one has CAH and I知 wondering how they will handle the circumcision.

Is there anyone out there that had a little guy circumcised after birth knowing that he had CAH? I know the doctors at my hospital are not really that familiar with CAH and I知 afraid that they might overreact and do things to him that are not necessary. My 2yr old was diagnosed through newborn screening and didn稚 ever have any symptoms of CAH. He started medication at 30 days.

Any info would be appreciated. Like I知 said, I知 nervous that now that the doctor knows the baby has CAH they may panic and do unnecessary things to him to cover their butts.
