My son who has salt-losing CAH had difficulty breathing at birth.  He wouldn’t cry and was "grunting" so they rushed him from the delivery room to the newborn ICU.  However, it was pretty minor and resolved with no problems in a few hours.  I have always wondered if it was related to CAH in any way.  He was diagnosed with CAH 2 weeks later after a salt-losing crisis.  He is now 4 and is doing great.
