Our 16 mo old son who has SWCAH was diagnosed through newborn screening at 8 days old.  At that point, we hadn’t yet had him circumcised because he had other complications at birth due to a long delivery and had been in the NICU for 4 days.  They would have done it at the hospital, but we chose to wait with all that he had gone through -little did we know the CAH diagnosis was yet to come. Anyway, he was circumcised in our pediatrician’s office after consulting with our endo and pediatrician.  He unbelievably recovered well.  No additional steps were taken for the CAH. I know there is much controversy over this issue, but that was our decision.  Best wishes & Congrats on the upcoming arrival of your new little one.  What a blesing!
