We started this not too long ago (my son’s 6 months old), and I know just how you feel.  We still are very watchful of him, but it’s getting easier.  I think you’ll always be very careful, and watchful for any signs of adrenal crisis, but that’s a good thing - it means you care.  Reading Eric’s posts has been most helpful; he has been kind enough to share his experience as a man with CAH.
